I’m Disha V. Sanghvi, a self-taught artist from Mumbai who began painting at age three and never looked back. Art is my meditation-a way to connect, express, and transform.

My journey has spanned charcoal and acrylic exhibitions, a 2014 storyboard collaboration with Walt Disney Studios, and a unique hand-painted shoe venture (2014–2019). For nearly a decade, I’ve taught both children and adults, fostering creative confidence in others.

In 2022, following my daughter’s first birthday, I embraced mural painting full-time-painting vibrant large-scale murals across India and Dubai. My philosophy: Never say no to art-I create without boundaries, always guided by storytelling and authenticity. I’m known for extracting personal narratives from clients and translating them into meaningful, lasting visuals. Driven by purpose, passion, and the inspiration my daughter gives me, I’m dedicated to enriching intimate spaces through art that resonates forever.

This textured painting was ranked as the 4th best abstract art in India at one of India’s biggest art contest by Affectart in 2024.

In June 2022, during the grand reopening of the Cuff Parade Residents Association (CPRA) Greens Garden on World Environment Day, Disha Sanghvi was requested to create a vibrant mural right at the entrance. Her artistic vision turned a simple wall into a celebration of the innocence of childhood, earning admiration from many distinguished guests including the Japanese embassy. It wasn’t just art, it was a statement of renewal and community spirit.

This particular mural gained such admiration and appreciation that the Cuffe Parade Residents Association decided to feature her work and an exclusive interview in their local newspaper.

In February 2022, Disha Sanghvi single-handedly designed and painted a 200 sq ft mural at Prag Mahal palace in Bhuj, Kutch, Gujarat, dedicated to the spirit of the local community. Her work quickly gained attention from tourists and travelers, becoming a celebrated piece of public art. It later became a case study for art students across India, recognized for its cultural impact, artistic vision and scale

In 2014, Disha Sanghvi was invited and felicitated as a chief speaker at SIES College of Commerce and Economics, stating on record the Institute’s appreciation for she was pursuing three educational courses at a time and yet making time to pursue her passion in fine arts. She inspired students with her story and a powerful message that it’s not about spending time, it’s about investing it. A reminder that every moment counts on the path to success.

In 2013, Disha Sanghvi embarked on her Disney adventure, infusing the Live Entertainment division of The Walt Disney India pvt.Ltd. (Disney UTV) with passion and purpose. Working with the art director on creating the storyboard, she helped orchestrate the magic leaving an indelible mark and earning recognition for her quiet brilliance.
